Full Tilt Issues - Play Somewhere Else!

On April 15th players all around the United States of America became aware of the grim reality referred to as Black Friday, as their ability to play online poker on the three major sites was stripped away. Shortly afterward, however, PokerStars allowed their players to access the cashier so that they could withdraw their funds. Earning PokerStars rakeback was no longer an option, but at least their money was safe.
There was no good news to be had with Full Tilt, unfortunately. American players have been unable to access their funds since that fateful day in April. And now even players outside of America have their funds locked up in Full Tilt.

If you are look for an online poker room - do not go to Full Tilt.  Get the latest William Hill Poker download and play poker at one of the most trusted UK brands in the gaming industry.  The William Hill download will offer both a great online poker experience and a bonus of up to £1250!!

The Alderney Gaming Control Commission (AGCC) decided to suspend Full Tilt Poker’s license on April 29th. Once one of the best Mac poker sites available, Full Tilt was no longer available to anyone. Their unsatisfactory job at paying back the American players was part of the reason they lost their license.
Players were forced to look ahead to June 26th in hopes that they would get some information from the hearing between Full Tilt Poker and the AGCC. There have been several rumors indicating that Full Tilt might be bought up by investors that would solve their money problems. This would therefore fix their standing with the AGCC. Players everywhere held their breath and crossed their fingers.

Unfortunately there has not been any good news. Full Tilt Poker’s lawyer requested that the hearing be adjourned so as not to jeopardize the ongoing negotiations going on between the site and their European investor. The AGCC resisted at first, and they brought up the fact that Full Tilt Poker owes them £250,000 in licensing fees. The site came back and said that they would not be willing to pay if they could not get their license back in the first place.

Affected players were very unhappy to hear that nothing else was decided at the meeting. The hearing will not take place until September 15th. September marks the 5th month that Americans have had their money frozen. In the meantime, they will just have to play Craps online and hope that September 15th brings better news.
